This is the part that matters, so it comes first.
- Every figure produced by a calculator on this site is a general planning estimate.
- It is not a bid, quote, tender, offer, appraisal, insurance binder, claim valuation, or a promise that work can be obtained at that price.
- It is not professional, legal, tax, financial, insurance or engineering advice, and no professional relationship is created by your use of this site.
- Actual costs and settlements depend on the specific condition of your property, hidden damage found once work begins, local building codes, permit requirements, your particular insurance policy wording, market conditions, and who you hire.
- Rate tables are compiled from published sources and are reviewed periodically, but prices move and information here may be out of date at any moment.
